Yeah, I wanted to try Oekaki again, and being on a big Reeve-kick, I decided to do the flip-side of Reeve, Cait Sith. This was a good 2.5 hours of work, all together. I like the Moogle better than I do Cait, I think. Mouse-drawn in Photoshop. Most of the colors were lifted from an official Cait Sith picture.
Random inspiration hits, and I actually come up with a scenario about two seconds before I do the background. See, after Meteor, Reeve's in charge of rebuilding Midgar. So he sends out Cait Sith to supervise. And Cait is getting a bit edgy cause people keep screwing up. Hence the uncharacteristically angry expression. Way to be random at the end of a long day. So yeah, those are supposed to be broken buildings in the background. Holy crap, I actually did a background! Go me!
PS, even tho this isn't as good as Reeve was, I think this is my new favorite style of art. ^ .^ Go me.
O_O When I saw the thumbnail for this I was WTF?! Since when did she have a Cait Sith toy?! [it looked like one] then I see big picture and... hmmmm.. Inferestin! Just to let you know, I don't think you ever see Cait Sith's eyes [Well, the cat's], he has a kind of Chichiri thing going on, only slits!!

The butter legion- a socialist movement/mass colab project I started, to trigger artistic change and evolution in Da artists (mainly my watchers), to make them more active and dedicated on DA. Now 170 people strong and growing... A "dangerous cult"? a "new religion"? "artistic version of fight club" or "communist movement"? You decide!
Hello there! This news article is the result of a thumb share thread I posted few days ago on the dA forum along with pictures from my favorites. I hope you enjoy them.
