This is what I get for listening to my brother play Dirge of Cerberus while searching for Org XIII screencaps to make Magic cards out of. Hojo _{(I'm 98% certain that's the first time I've ever drawn him)} getting terrorized by Even, Vexen's Other, and subsequently being passed up for the coveted assistant's spot. Hojo's jealousy would later lead him to create Sephiroth for the sole reason of killing Even, Ansem the Wise, and probably half of Radiant Garden, but by the time the ol' OWA was ready to rumble, the idjits had already released the darkness on everything.

So, he set Sephiroth to terrorizing Cloud, and left for a vacation in Deep Jungle. He hasn't been seen since.

Can you imagine how utterly, utterly messed up Chain of Memories would have been if Hojo's Nobody (Joxoh?) had been #4 instead? Marluxia would have been taken over by Jenova by the end of the game, and poor Riku'd probably end up spliced with something, probably whatever was left of Larxene.
