Big problem with boot camp: There is very few times that we actually get to listen to real music, so if you get a song stuck in your hear, it stays there for EVER.

I had the first verse of the Sesame St. song stuck in my head for two weeks straight. This resulted in the above, drawn during break while in firefighting class. Way too much fun was had with this.

Part of the whole citizen-to-sailor transition thing, I suppose. We could listen to music during our holiday routine on sundays, and occasionally when Chief or Petty Officer got bored on the computer during in-house physical training, but otherwise, there really wasn't a time we could listen to music. Our time was filled with drills and studying and getting yelled at and god knows what else. Very little time to just sit back and chill.
