It felt like hours later when I felt something stroking my hair, and the pleasant haze of half-sleep lifted enough to identify Jazz’s finger, not quite petting me like a cat, more like teasing the strands, stroking, like he wasn’t quite sure what to do with it but liked fiddling with it anyway. I would have teased him about it but I didn’t feel like going through the effort of actually talking. Instead I just smiled and poked him in the headlight again.
o o o So. Caz has this awesome story called 'Our Lady of Blessed Acceleration' and it's in-progress sequel, 'The Light was Yellow, Sir'. These stories follow one Mikaela Banes and her ass-kicking big sister Malena and a Pontiac Solstice with a 'boneable' Hologram and a couple of pissy Decepticons and all of the resultant adventures in cars, kidnapping, arguments, showers and thongs hanging from review mirrors. :D The above excerpt is from the latest chapter, featuring Malena and Jazz, and it made me 'aww' out loud. Thus, illustration. I really don't need to be doing this right now. I have shit that needs to be flat-out DONE by the end of the day, and I'm over here, illustrating fanfics. God help me.
